Seasons Greetings

So, the turkey is brining (and I didn’t even know you could do that two days ago, thanks Amy), I have my potatoes ready to peel, stuffing ready to cook and Yorkshire Pudding mix ready to go. I should be asleep already, otherwise Santa might pass by, and at the very least I won’t be up in time to put the turkey in the oven.

Whilst I know in the US, it is tradition to give thanks at Thanksgiving (hence the name, I’m sure), I would like to take this opportunity to offer my thanks to the many many people who have offered me support throughout the last month. I wish you and your families a wonderful holiday season, and many well wishes for the upcoming year.

I would also like to ask that this holiday season, as you enjoy your turkey and your gifts, that you take a moment and think about your loved ones – give them a spontaneous hug, or just a smile – remember what is truly important.

If you are maybe thinking you forgot a gift, or you are still looking to get into the spirit, I urge you to sign up for organ donation. It is a gift that costs you nothing, but will hopefully bring unmeasurable joy to someone and their own family. To sign up today, click for information in the USA, UK, Australia or just Google it.
